Overview:

* Frankfort is Hiring A Maintenance Associate *

Pay Rate: $28.70 to $32.80 an hour *shift differential $1.75 an hour

Shift : 7:00pm to 7:00am

Paid Weekly

Sign on bonus: $3000.00

Responsibilities:

J ob Description:

• Perform various activities on equipment and machines including reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work;
• Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems;
• Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs;
• Lubricate or apply other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures;
• Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications;
• Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance;
• Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment working on production equipment.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older; criminal background checks and drug screening required.

Located 35 south west of Chicago, Frankfort is a village in Will County, Illinois, with a small portion in Cook County. The population was 17,782 at the 2010 census, up from 10,391 in 2000. According to Forbes.com, in 2007 the village ranked as the 36th fastest growing suburb in the United States.

The plant was built in 1965, manufactures food service and food packaging products (custom and stock foam), and has approximately 300 employees.
