Jono Pandolfi Designs is a family-owned ceramics studio based in Union City, NJ. We have a small but mighty team of 30+ people who form, fire, and ship ceramic dinnerware to passionate home cooks and the best restaurants around the country.

We have a low-impact production process that transforms natural materials into durable products and our ceramics are meant to last generations. About the role:

The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing department by concepting, creating, and otherwise shepherding content for platforms including social media, digital advertising, email, and printed materials (in that order).

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating sharp, beautiful content across platforms and staying on top of emerging tech. A personal interest in ceramics or the New York restaurant scene will make the job an especially good fit.

This position reports to the Marketing Director.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm

Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Location: Jono Pandolfi Designs studio in Union City, NJ

Requirements:

• 2 - 4 years of social media management or marketing experience at a growing media or consumer brand
• Familiarity with content scheduling and email marketing platforms

Responsibilities include;

• Record and post in-studio content for Instagram Stories and Tiktok
• Own Instagram content schedule (in relation to overall marketing calendar and initiatives)
• Brainstorm concepts for social shoots and attend shoots as needed
• Attend JPD pop-ups and other events to document as needed
• Prepare assets and copy for digital advertising 
• Influencer outreach and tracking
• Organize and maintain photo/video assets on Dropbox
• Draft copy for emails and printed materials (occasionally)
