Job Description

The BIM Technician will be responsible for assisting the BIM Coordinators on the design and layout of new construction projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Director and design team to create detailed and accurate installation of drawings.
• Scan, organize, and populate markups as needed.
• Maintain project drawing log.
• Collaborate with the VDC team to design and navigate 3D models.
• Work with the VDC team to provide installation drawings and updates.
• Collaborate with division managers to ensure project deadlines are met.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Revit knowledge a plus
• AutoCAD knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of construction industry, electrical system knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM Glue, Total Station/Trimble a plus, but not necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are beneficial.
• Effective organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and plan tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
