About:
Our investment is an early-stage BCI wearable tech startup employing an innovative mix of generative AI with recent breakthroughs in material science (patent-pending) for SOTA electronic consumer devices. They are seeking an RF Antenna Scientist to join their dynamic team.
This role focuses on antenna research to develop novel antenna designs for on-body biosensing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in metamaterials and electromagnetic simulations.
Responsibilities :
• Assist in the design and development of innovative metamaterial-based antenna systems and elements for wearable bio-sensing applications
• Perform computational electromagnetic simulations and develop new models using industry-standard software tools (e.g., CST, XFDTD).
• Analyze and interpret simulation results, providing insights and recommendations for design improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna designs into larger systems.
• Participate in experimental validation and testing of antenna prototypes.
Requirements :
• PhD (recently graduated is acceptable) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a strong focus on antennas and/or computational electromagnetics.
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of antenna theory and electromagnetic wave propagation.
• Proficiency in computational electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., CST, XFDTD).
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, or similar for data analysis and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Independent work ethic, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable in a fast moving startup environment, excited to build independently.
