Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual School Counselor to provide remote counseling services to K-12 students in New Mexico. This is a 1099 contract position offering a competitive hourly rate of $38-$40. The ideal candidate will work to support students' academic, emotional, and social growth through virtual counseling sessions, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students.
Develop and implement effective strategies to support student success and well-being.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to address students' unique needs.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
Conduct assessments and offer recommendations for individualized student support plans.

Qualifications:

A valid New Mexico School Counselor license is required.
A Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field.
Experience in virtual counseling and telehealth platforms is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while managing a remote caseload.
