Our client is a growing fintech software company based in New York City. They are looking for a Senior Backend Python Engineer to help build a distributed ledger / blockchain based application suite. They work with various financial services firms, brokerages, hedge funds, etc. and they currently process billions in assets. This role is Hybrid in-office 4 days/week in NYC Monday-Thursday.
Candidates should have 5-7+ years of hands-on experience building RESTful APIs with Python, Fast API, AWS, etc. for SaaS-based solutions and APIs in large-scale applications using AWS. Candidate will participate in code and peer reviews, team leadership and will have deep knowledge of the SDLC.. Any experience with Blockchain (DAML, Solidity) is a big plus.
