Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Restructuring & Turnaround Associate to join their dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, and possess exceptional financial modeling skills—particularly in 13-week cash flow forecasting. This is a high-impact role that offers meaningful responsibility across engagements from day one, including client-facing exposure, strategic input, and the opportunity to help stabilize and grow distressed businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of client engagements including operational turnarounds, liquidity management, and financial restructurings.
• Build, refine, and maintain advanced financial models, including 13-week cash flow forecasts, integrated financial statements, and scenario analyses.
• Conduct operational and financial diligence to identify key risks, opportunities, and improvement levers.
• Collaborate directly with senior internal and client stakeholders, lenders, and legal teams.
• Prepare presentations, client reports, and lender communication materials to drive engagement strategy and execution.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding cost reduction, capital structure optimization, and operational realignment.
• Manage multiple workstreams and project timelines in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in restructuring advisory, investment banking, turnaround consulting, private credit, or related fields.
• Strong command of financial modeling and analysis; experience building 13-week cash flows necessary.
• Exposure to distressed situations, workouts, or special situations finance is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort in client-facing situations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus but not required.
