Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead our Austin office focusing on Land Development projects. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in land development design, covering commercial and single-family projects. This individual will hold a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license and bring proven expertise in managing projects, leading teams, and cultivating client relationships. This is a leadership role for an experienced civil engineer looking to significantly impact the Austin land development market!

Responsibilities:

The Office Leader will work closely with other Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other staff to perform the following duties:

· Lead and manage the daily operations of the Austin office, ensuring alignment with company objectives

· Oversee land development projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, adherence to timelines, and budget control

· Provide leadership to a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering growth and ensuring high-performance standards

· Manage and expand a client portfolio, ensuring exceptional client service delivery

· Collaborate with clients, contractors, and public officials to ensure project success

· Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the financial health of projects and office operations

· Conduct market forecasting and strategic planning to align with regional and company goals

· Lead hiring and onboarding efforts, ensuring the acquisition of top engineering talent

Must have:

· 15+ years of experience in land development design

· Active Texas PE license

· Proven experience in team leadership and staff management

· Track record of successfully managing land development projects from start to finish

· Strong business development skills with the ability to win work and grow client relationships

· Proficiency in budgeting, market forecasting, and hiring

· Excellent communication and client management skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a leadership team
