Compensation/Benefits – Salary range increases up to $130,000/yr. depending on qualifications. Our client is offering a bonus along with a 401(k) plan and medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans.

PAYROLL MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily workflow of the department
• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transaction
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes
• Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transaction
• Prepare various payroll reports for use by management
• Respond to inquiries from management regarding payroll results and special reporting requests
• Other duties may be assigned

PAYROLL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with payroll using Ultimate Software
• Knowledge of Union and incentive pay
