Maintenance Supervisor

Summary:

We are currently seeking a “best in class Maintenance Supervisor with an engineering background that will be responsible for supervising the care and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, components and equipment of buildings, machinery, and grounds. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, communication, and customer service. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, but you will also nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position

• Within the mining, grinding, manufacturing, burning and packaging departments, assist with maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
• Equipment will include Mobile, Grinding, Screening, Conveying, Extrusion, Drying, Firing. And Packaging
• Electrical control of our equipment utilizes Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC’s and their various programming software including RS-Logix and TlA-Portal, engagement utilizing these to improve, maintain operations is essential
• Read, analyze, troubleshoot and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service and provide technical support when needed.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and handling equipment in performing duties
• Assist in maintain parts and supplies inventory
• Develop team members and provide training, guidance and coaching
• Gather material as specified by work order; optimize the production process to increase efficiency
• Follow all required work safe practices including LOTO requirements and wearing all required PPE in designated areas
• Participate in staff and production meetings.

Skills and Experience Required for Success:

• 5+ years of related experience
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and other standards
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and robotics
• Extensive knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation and motor control circuits
• Must be able to lift 25-50lbs regularly
• Ability to climb, reach, grasp, bend at the waist, and twist at the waist frequently
• Ability to frequently working cramped and confined spaces
• Fancu robot experience a plus
• Proficient in the MS office suite

Education:

• Engineering experience a plus
• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required
