Maintenance Manager / Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager required to join a large manufacturer based in Rochelle, IL

The successful Maintenance Manager / Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager will have at least 5+ years experience in a managerial position within a heavy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee capital projects.
• Provide technical support during equipment breakdowns to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate procurement and inventory of spare parts and materials.
• Monitor performance, enforce best practices, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree within Engineering is preferred
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager / Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance within heavy industry.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Commutable to Rochelle, IL
