Job Description

We are working with a client on a mission to build the first-ever software platform dedicated to simplifying and speeding up a critical aspect of urban development and construction workflows, for any type of project, in any city.

Their goal is simple: reduce friction and delays. Every feature they ship is in service of helping users move faster through what has traditionally been a time-consuming, frustrating process.

They partner with some of the most recognisable names in development, construction, retail, and architecture, supporting the rollout of everything from new homes and office spaces to flagship stores.

This role is based in San Francisco and reports into the founding leadership team. You’ll be collaborating day-to-day with a multidisciplinary group of designers and engineers who are co-located in the Bay Area.

Must have over 6/7+ years of experience and have worked in fast paced startups too.

About You

  • You’re a thoughtful product designer who cares about designing the right thing, and then designing that thing right.
  • You approach complex, ambiguous problems with curiosity and structure , digging deep into user needs and edge cases.
  • You're craft-driven , with a high bar for visual and interaction design quality.
  • You rely on frameworks and principles to guide decision-making, but remain open to challenging assumptions.
  • You enjoy working on tools and software that power real work , especially when it means untangling messy domains.
  • You thrive in early-stage, fast-moving environments , where ownership, autonomy, and adaptability are key.

What You’ll Do

  • Take full ownership of product design for key initiatives, from early discovery to polished UI and final handoff.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering on roadmap planning and delivery.
  • Conduct user research and feedback sessions to validate and improve your designs.
  • Translate insights into wireframes, flows, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes.
  • Contribute to the design system and continuously improve internal design processes.
  • Explore ways to integrate AI-powered solutions that simplify the platform’s complexity and scale.

What we are looking for:

Someone that has experience working complex projects from start to finish, the full cycle of Product Design not just UI focussed. You need to have shipped web based products too, NOT just mobile. B2B/Enterprise experience.

Portfolios:

Strong modern portfolio featuring web applications. Projects that show complex UI (dashboards, data tables, analytics plots, long-form onboarding flows), drawing/mapping interfaces, and user cases that show problem-solving and impact.

If you’re a Lead Product Designer who enjoys solving real-world problems, working in tight, collaborative teams, and shaping a product from an early stage, this could be an exciting next step.

**Must already be based in the US and willing to be onsite in SF 4 x week**

No Sponsorship.

Salary $180-240k + Equity

Employee benefits 401(k) Medical, dental, vision
