Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Field Specialist – West Coast Infrastructure Projects

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Compensation: $100,000–$140,000+

GS2 Partnership is supporting a rapidly growing infrastructure and energy services business to find a Health, Safety and Environment Field Specialist to lead safety performance across West Region field projects.

This is a chance to step into a key regional role, overseeing an established HSE team and driving culture, compliance, and improvement across diverse energy and utility projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Champion Safety in the Field: Conduct regular site inspections and support field teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safe work practices.
• Support Safety Leadership: Assist with investigations, documentation, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate for Continuous Improvement: Support audits, inspections, and improvement initiatives across multiple concurrent projects.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of relevant HSE experience in utilities, energy, transmission and distribution infrastructure or construction.
• CHST certification required and a strong knowledge of OSHA, federal, and state/local HSE regulations.
• Excellent field engagement, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to travel across California up to 70% of the time.
