Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with practical experience in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design to join our fast-moving engineering team in the Warrendale Market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a product development environment and enjoys contributing across the full hardware lifecycle—from concept to prototype to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PCBs, including from-scratch designs for new product initiatives
• Utilize PCB design software ( Altium preferred , but experience with other platforms is acceptable)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, manufacturing) to bring hardware products from concept to production
• Participate in schematic capture, board layout, part selection, and circuit validation
• Engage in hands-on soldering, prototyping , and debugging during various phases of development
• Support test development and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Document design decisions and support regulatory compliance processes

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Depending on the product lifecycle stage, PCB design will range from 10% to 90% of your time
• Remainder of the time may include system-level integration, testing, circuit analysis, component sourcing, and collaboration with other departments
• Occasional bench work and soldering are expected— comfort with basic soldering is important

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
• Experience with PCB design tools (Altium preferred, but others like Eagle, KiCad, OrCAD acceptable)
• Experience designing PCBs from the ground up
• Comfortable with bench testing, soldering , and basic lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.)
• Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and good documentation habits
