Rove is seeking a vibrant, hungry, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to join our growing digital marketing team in California. The Digital Marketing Manager will work on a full-time, exempt, W-2 basis, typically with light to no travel required, with a flexible hybrid schedule of at least 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing Rove's digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function, hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, programmatic advertising, social media, display campaigns and e-commerce.

The Digital Marketing Manager is expected to work up to 40+ hours a week and will be eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits (following a waiting period), along with voluntary life insurance, and pet insurance. Responsibilities:

  • Data-Driven Campaign Analysis: Consistently measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, analyzing metrics against defined goals (budgets, ROI, KPIs), and provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Advanced KPI Management: Monitor, calculate, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) with accuracy and agility, ensuring data informs decision-making.
  • Website Content Management: Manage and maintain all product menus, descriptions, and other relevant content on the company's website and digital platforms.
  • Digital Marketing Execution: Strategize, plan, and execute comprehensive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, blogs, email marketing, customer database management, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Trend and Data Insights: Identify emerging trends and analyze data to optimize marketing spend and campaign performance.
  • SEO Expertise: Develop and implement cutting-edge search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance online visibility and traffic.
  • Collaboration with Media Partners: Work closely with advertising and media experts to maximize the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Paid Campaign Oversight: Strategize, set up, and manage all paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms.
  • E-commerce Platform Leadership: Lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of the company’s e-commerce platform, with a focus on enhancing user experience and sales.
  • Proficiency in Marketing Analytics Tools: Leverage analytics tools like Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and advertising dashboards to monitor campaign success and forecast future performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager with a track record of managing data-driven campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas), PowerPoint, Word, and GSuite.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and Google Ads.
  • Experience with web design fundamentals and e-commerce platforms.

Analytical & Strategic Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to analyze large data sets, recognize patterns, and calculate KPIs to inform marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, ROI calculations, and campaign performance optimization.
  • Experience in A/B testing and applying data insights to drive continuous improvement.

Creative & Industry Knowledge:

  • Highly creative with proven success in identifying target audiences and crafting campaigns that engage, inform, and convert.
  • Familiarity with advertising in regulated industries (e.g., cannabis or hemp) is a plus.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams and leadership.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively under minimal supervision.

Staying Ahead of Trends:

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in online marketing, analytics, and performance measurement.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light to moderate lifting (up to 25-75lbs); heavier weights with assistance.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Possibility of repetitive motion.
  • Working at a fast pace, subject to many interruptions and both physical and mental demands.

Compensation: Salary Range from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
