Job Description

The Buyer is responsible for ordering products, materials, and consumables, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries to support customer needs and internal operations.

Responsibilities:

• Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, shipping, backorders, and product issues.
• Manage inventory levels, especially critical items like vaccines.
• Run daily reports to monitor supply and resolve discrepancies.
• Track price changes, update internal records, and communicate to teams.
• Support inventory control by monitoring aged, slow-moving, or discontinued products.
• Assist with product recalls and quality control documentation.
• Provide backup for drop-ship orders and other purchasing functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant purchasing experience
• 2+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
