Contract position for L3 Harris in Cincinnati - 4/10 work schedule! This is a safety position, not environmental.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in a hands-on safety position for manufacturing or engineering setting
- Knowledge of hazardous waste management and requirements, including the separation of flammables from corrosives, transportation of hazardous waste
- Experience with staff safety trainings, lock out tag out, knowledge of 29 CFR 1910
- Working knowledge in Excel is a must
- staff safety training experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- OSHA 10 certification
- Background in a manufacturing environment

Day to day responsibilities:
An employer is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate EH&S Generalist in the Cincinnati area. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with hazardous waste management regulations, updating procedures, validating inspections and permitting, and maintaining a safe working environment. The EHS Specialist will train and coach on safety procedures. They will inspect rigging and welding environments to ensure proper safety measures. This role is 4 days a week onsite at the customer site, 4/10 schedule, which is a defense contractor in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation:
$22.00/hour to $34.00/hour
