About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer with strong expertise in native Android development, specifically using Jetpack Compose. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications that integrate with backend services and third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the entire mobile application lifecycle: concept, design, test, release, and support
· Develop high-quality, secure Android applications with clean, maintainable code
· Design modern, intuitive UI in alignment with design guidelines
· Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
· Ensure security compliance through regular code scans and remediation
· Write and maintain unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure app performance and stability
· Maintain code quality, documentation, and CI/CD automation pipelines
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· 5+ years of Android development experience
· Proficiency in Kotlin, including MVVM and MVP architecture patterns
· Strong knowledge of Android SDK, components, and lifecycle
· Firm grasp of OOP design principles and core CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
· Experience with RESTful APIs integration
· Familiarity with Git and Android development tools (debugging, benchmarking, testing)
· Understanding of concurrency, threading, and performance optimization
· Ability to follow secure coding practices and resolve vulnerabilities proactively
· Preferred (Bonus) Skills
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines
· Knowledge of iOS native development, or cross-platform tools like React Native or Flutter
· Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
